Basic obedience course

The basic obedience course provides a kind of change in attitude, knowledge and tools in the hands of the owners. We meet 14 times during the 7 weeks.

Our method: Positive reinforcement. Our tools: clicker, many treats, often appreciate.

During this time, you can expect the following:

- You get to know another side of your dog.

- You will learn how to communicate correctly with your dog, on her/his language.

- The bond is strengthening between you

- She/He will pay more and more attention to you

Of course, you will also learn obedience tasks with your dog:

- stable calling of the dog

- eye contact (she/he focus on you)

- sit, down

- side on leash

- staying in place (for longer, shorter periods of time)

- refusal to the found and offered food

You will probably have a lot of questions during the course. Ask us and we will help to deal with the problems you may have with your dog.

We work in small groups. We mostly practice without leash. You will take an exam at the end of the course.

Lessons run from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The price is: 60.000 HUF, that you can pay in two parts.

Intermediate obedience course

Those who have successfully passed the basic obedience course can take the 8 weeks intermediate course, which aims to increase the discipline of the dog. We expand the knowledge of the owners with higher level educational techniques. You can also apply for the course if you have taken the basic obedience course elsewhere. In this case, we check your knowledge.

Obedience tasks:

- deepening the knowledge about the dogs

- follow on side without leash

- staying in disturbing conditions

- advanced level of obedience

- learning and applying advanced teaching methods

- practice in outdoor area

The behavior of the dog:

- a deeper understanding of dog communication

- how to change the unwanted behaviour of the dog (reduction of excessive fear /

dominance)

- instinct treatment

- learning the right form of punishment

Here, the owners get to know the high level of clicker training and, due to instinct treatment techniques, they will be able to become the leader to their dog.

Education takes place in small groups. We finish the course with an exam.

Classes are held on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The participation fee of the course is 70.000 HUF, which can be paid in two parts. 

Puppy school

Our motto is: "There isn't any bad dog, only the owner does not have enough experience."

Socialization is very important in this sensitive period of the puppy! The puppy starts to know the world around him/her. We teach them how to respond correctly on situations and things that affects him/her. These lessons are recommended when dogs are 3-7 months old.

Here the owners learn to

- play well with their dogs,

- communicate well with puppies,

- the foundations of living together,

- the first steps for a well-functioning dog.

On the lesson we observe how the puppies communicate with each other, we discuss about different topics related to the dogs, and we make the puppies tired mentally and phisically too. How? We make simple exercise with them and we let them to play with each other in a safa enclosed area under the supervision of instructors.

You will need:

- a lot of treats: (sausage, cheese, bacon etc.) cut into small pieces.

- fabric or leather collar

- fixed leash (not flexible) fabric or leather

- vaccination book for the first time.

Don't give breakfast to your puppy if you come to us. It is better, when they play their stomach is empty and it is easier to motivate them when they are hungry. All vaccinations should be given to your puppy before coming to the community.

Lessons run from 9:00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The price is: 2.200 HUF / lesson, or you can buy a season-ticket for 10 lessons it costs 20.000 HUF, which is valid for 3 months.

Club

At our club, we welcome all type of dog breeds and their owners, who have completed at least the basic obedience course. We accept, if you have finished the basic obedience course elsewhere.

During the lessons, the owners have the opportunity to expand their knowledge. You can learn different types of tricks and higher level obedience tasks.

We recommend our club to all those who want to get tired their dog both mentally and physically, and who want to deepen their bond with their dogs.

In addition, we help owners solve their problems and show them how to teach their dog what they want, but is not part of the courses. By the end of the session, not only the owners get tired, but when they return home, they must be sure, that their dogs calm down, and sleep all afternoon

The lesson runs from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Due to the heat at summer, the classes are held from 7 a.m to 8 a.m.

Agility

Agility is a fun, ever changing dog sport. Evereyone can participate, it doesn't matter if your dog is small or big, puppy, adult or elderly. The size of the obstacles is customizable, we can help all of you find the best option. We build the course step by step, the aim is that both the dog and the owner are able to run the course with confidence and joy, and to leave with a sense of achievement. The time taken together and the obstacles tackled strengthen the bond and tire out the dog both physically and mentally. The various forms of movement help improve the dog's coordination skills. The course is always newly built resulting in your dog being able to better listen to you and you having more control over it. Even puppies can participate in the course. The one-off sessions usually start at 8.00 am on Saturdays and Sundays, for more details on the dates and times, please call us. In case you'd like to join, please register beforehand. 

What's the basic agility course about? 

The goal of the basic course is to get acquainted with the different types of obstacles (jump, long jump, tunnel, slalom, A frame, dog walk, teeter, tyre). The owner learns the basics of controlling the dog, the calls, some simple hand gestures and some motivation techniques. We close the course with a mini-exam, where you need to complete a short course with your dog. Of course you don't need to run it perfectly, it is more important how you correct the mistakes. There's a short questionnaire as well, which covers the basic concepts of agility. You don't need to worry we will discuss these during the course numerous times. The course sessions run 8.00-9.000 a.m on Saturdays and Sundays throughout five weeks. Participation fee is 35.000 HUF.

Dog fitness

On the lessons the dogs work on different, special equipments with the help of their owner. The dog fitness helps to keep fit the dog physically and mentally too. It is recommended to sport and hobby dogs also, and it is highly recommended to the old dogs, and who struggling with overweight.

Dog fitness is an amazing way to help your dog by promoting weight mangement, improving behavior, strengthening muscles and bones, improving mobility, preventing injury, and enriching your relationship!

Socialization

When the dog has behavior problems, it can make the owner's life harder. The most common problems are agression, destruction and shyness. This lesson is a private lesson, when we estimate the measure of the problem, try to find the root of the problem, and we help to cope with the problem. We hope, we can help you to enjoy the time with your dog again. The lenght of the lesson depends on the dog and the problem, but it takes maximum 35 minutes.
